Stop chasing receipts.
Snap. Stash. Attach.

The Credit Card tool now has an optional Receipt Library. Capture a receipt the moment you swipe — pull it out of the library when the transaction lands. No more hunting through email when statements close.

Direct upload during classify still works exactly as before
The Library page

Your private stash of receipts

Two ways to get here: tap the Upload Receipt button on the My Expenses home page, or use Sidebar → Receipt Library. Drop files in ahead of time and AI fills in the details automatically.

How it works

Four steps. Two of them happen on autopilot.

1

Capture at the register

Open the tool on your phone, tap Take photo, snap the receipt. The camera opens directly — one tap and you’re back to your day.

2

AI fills in the details

Vendor, amount, date, and matching property are extracted automatically. The card flips from Analyzing to AI filled within seconds. Override anything — your edits always win.

3

Pick when classifying

When the transaction lands and you click into Classify, hit Pick from your receipt library. Select the receipt — the metadata auto-fills empty classify fields.

4

Submit to attach

Click Save & Next. The receipt moves out of your library onto the transaction. Done — no separate upload, no email digging.

Pick ≠ consume

Picked the wrong receipt? Just click ×.

Selecting a receipt only earmarks it — the file stays in your library. It only leaves your library when you actually submit the classification.

Click Select

Receipt earmarked. Still in your library, file untouched.

Click × on the violet card

Earmark released. Receipt back in library, fully recoverable.

Click Save & Next

Receipt moves out of library, onto transaction. Now committed.

Close the browser early

Earmark persists. Open the same transaction tomorrow — your selection is still there.

On the classify screen

One new button. Three valid paths.

Pick from your library, upload directly (the original workflow), or fill in the missing-receipt note if no receipt exists. All three are still valid — pick whichever fits your workflow.

Limits & cleanup

  • 75 receipts per user, 300 MB total
  • 10 MB per file (JPG / PNG / WebP / HEIC / PDF)
  • Untouched for 180 days → auto-deleted overnight
  • Heads-up notification fires 30 days before auto-delete

Private to you

Your library is yours alone. Other employees, your manager, and admins cannot see what’s in your library — they only see receipts after you’ve attached and submitted them on a transaction.

Built mobile-first

The Library page is most useful on your phone. The Take photo button uses your camera directly — no separate app, no photo-roll detour. Pay, walk away, snap, close phone. Two seconds in the moment beats twenty minutes of email-archaeology at month-end.

Use it. Skip it. Either way works.

The Receipt Library is opt-in. If your existing way of saving receipts works for you, keep doing that — direct upload during classify is unchanged.
